Music Beat Therapy Services offers music therapy services for children and adults of all abilities.
We offer mobile therapy services across greater Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and Moreton Bay region in the areas of early childhood development, disability and rehabilitation.
With a focus on sensory integration, motor planning, emotional regulation, communication, social skills and general development, there is a music therapy program for everyone!
Group and individual music therapy sessions are offered from Monday to Saturday by our Registered Music Therapists.
Music Therapy Services
Music Beat Therapy Services provides different therapeutic options to suit different organisations, family and individual needs and situations:
- One off sessions (to determine what could be incorporated in home, school and work life)
- Blocks of therapy sessions during school terms (approximately 10 weeks of weekly sessions or 5 weeks of fortnightly sessions)
- Home or school visits
- Group music therapy sessions at various locations during the school term
- Music therapy programs for community organisations
- Holiday programs
We provide music therapy in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Intervention settings, music therapy for school aged children as well music therapy for adults and for organisations. Visit our What is Music Therapy page to learn more about how music therapy can help your child or organisation.
All of our programs are facilitated by Registered Music Therapists – Miss Kate, Miss Chare, Miss Sarah, and Miss Joy.
Music Therapy in the Community
Music Beat Therapy Services offers group and individual music therapy programs to schools, respite centres, disability services and community organisations.
Our programs are designed to suit people of all ages and abilities, including support staff, parents, siblings, carers and other family members. Musical activities can encourage the development of many areas, such as social skills, fine and gross motor skills, communication, self-expression, self-awareness and self-regulation, engagement and attention, and parent-child bonding.

Our Current Music Therapy Programs
Music Beat Therapy Services currently works with a variety respite centres, schools, disability services and community organisations, providing programs tailored to each group’s individual needs. We proud to be working with the following organisations:
Down Syndrome Queensland – providing an early intervention music therapy playgroup and a choir program for adolescents and adults
Playlist Group – providing group music therapy for their Cubby Club and Blue Tongue programs
Hear & Say – providing early intervention music therapy groups
Red Hill Special School – providing music therapy sessions to all of the classes as well as offering individual music therapy programs
Redland District Special School – providing providing music therapy sessions to some classes as well as offering individual music therapy programs
We also provide music therapy programs to groups and individuals from other respite centres and disability services, child safety, as well as HCWA and NDIS participants.
Music Beat Therapy Services also facilitates their own Developmental Group Music Therapy program for children aged approximately 4 – 8 years.

Kate Fletcher (RMT/NMT) provides supervision sessions to work experience students, music therapy students and other allied health professionals.
Music Therapy Fees
Our services can be accessed privately or via Helping Children With Autism funding (HCWA). The HCWA funding is available for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder under the age of 7 years.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Music Beat Therapy Services is a registered service provider for NDIS participants. You are able to find us in the Provider Finder on the NDIS participant and provider portals by searching for “Music Beat Australia” under the profession of “Music Therapist”.

Helping Children with Autism Funding
