Group Leader, Music Teacher and Registered Music Therapist
Jodie is a Registered Music Therapist with a passion for helping people through music. She has experience working in a range of areas including acute paediatrics, children with hearing and visual impairments, aged care, neurologic and orthopaedic rehabilitation and palliative care.
Jodie graduated with a Master of Creative Music Therapy from Western Sydney University in 2018. She also has an undergraduate degree in music with honours, majoring in jazz saxophone performance at Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium. This included a European tour with the Queensland Conservatorium Saxophone Orchestra. Jodie has been teaching for many years and enjoys supporting people develop their musical interests.
As well as a passion for therapy, Jodie loves sharing and creating music with friends and family and having an active lifestyle.
